Unfortunately it's True, I confess. I did in fact throw up at Bob Evans. Now to be fair, I love Bob Evans, and It was in no way Bob Evens' fault that I tossed my cookies at their restaurant. My friends are big Bob Evan fans too, especially the ones who drink Coffee, they love the coffee at Bob Evans. I guess I should stop saying Bob Evans, if I say Bob Evens too much I might start ranking for Bob Evans, then the whole world will know I threw up there one morning...
Where was I. Oh yeah, it wasn't Bob Evans' fault, you see it was our first camping trip with our friends, we decided to all go out and pitch some tents and have a big overnight camping experience. Now you have to understand, none of us are big campers, and this was our first experience. So we all bought our Target tents and went out for our first family camping experience.
We were all having fun around the camp fire, and I perhaps was having a bit too much fun. An associate of mine had given me a nice bottle of wine, and I was enjoying it with a little less help that I had expected. So although it was a really fun night, the aftermath for me was a bit more than I was expecting and I was feeling a little quessy in the morning.
Well it rained that night while we were sleeping, and most of the families woke up on the wet side of their tents. My family was completely dry, mind you, we had decided to upgrade our target tent at the last minute when I noticed the box said "water resistent" so we opted for the larger Eddie Bauer Mammoth Tent that that said "water proff" on the side. Good move!
So everyone, but us, woke up wet, and didn't really feel like trying to get a camp fire going in the morning. Since our big camping trip was really just an overnighter, the decision was made to pack up camp and head out to Bob Evans for breakfast.
So I was a little queasy going into breakfast, but I did feel that a nice hot cup of tea and some solid food would do me some good. That was until my "friend" Pete got his breakfast! He ordered Biscuits and Gravy, and while on a normal day, I am sure that they taste great, and in fact Pete orders it all the time at Bob Evans, when it came to the table it looked something like this:
That was it for me! Puke on a plate was just a little more than I could take at the moment, and I was off to pay my respects to the Bob Evens Porcelain God.
Luckily I was able to find a tooth brush and toothpaste among our camping gear and I ended up having a nice Bob Evens experience afterwards.
So yes, it's true. I confess! I did in fact throw up at Bob Evans. Sorry Mr. Evans.
In honor of my experience, a added the following buttons to the official viener.com store:
So what is the moral here? Besides obviously to get a water proof tent? True friends don't order puke on a plate when their friends are feeling hung over.
