Riley and Jolie are in bed, Sara went to get Addison from an evening birthday party, and I'm alone with the Wii, dangerous. So I plugged in Wii sports, beat the computer 3-0 in tennis, I'm getting good, didn't even have to go to the 5 game set. Then I notice the Wii Fitness option. What they heck, I haven't been getting to the Gym, so I twist my wrist a bit and select the fitness option.
It starts off with some tennis practice, where I have to see how many balls I can return, forehand, backhand, net shots, whew... I missed a few but I don't think I did to bad. Next comes batting practice, 5 home runs out of 8 or 10 pitches, I can't remember, but not to shabby.... Next a little bit of bowling, 1 pin, got it. 2 pins, no sweat, 3 pins got them on my second try, 4 pins no problem, 5 pins two tries, FINISHED. Ut oh....
The Wii then decides to tally up my "Wii Fitness Age".... wait for it.... 34!!!!
Now, I'm 38, so maybe that's good, did I just virtually sweat of 4 years? Hmm.... I don't think so, now I'm wondering the average age of Wii players, and I'm not thinking 34 is a medal of honor. Then I remember Sara telling me that the Wii is getting very popular at the old age homes, and I'm wondering what wii fitness age they are getting, probably 18 or so...
I guess I need some more practice. Gotta whip my Mii into shape! :-)
Don't tell the kids, I played without them...
