Every year we have a family tradition of spending Passover at my parent's house. This year Passover happened to fall on Sara's 38th birthday. Sara had gotten the boys a toy video camera, so Addison and Riley were busy filming clips of the event.
Just prior to the Passover meal, the kids were playing hide and go seek. Here is Addison's film and running commentary as he hides in my parent's closet:
Addison decided that this year instead of hunting for the Afikomen like the rest of the kids, he would play videographer and film and interview Pop-Pop's hiding of the Afikomen and the hunt. Here is the first take of the hiding of the Afikomen:
Jolie got tired towards the end of dinner, and we decided to let her watch a movie upstairs. We didn't realize that she would be lying in the bed where Pop-Pop had hid the Afikomen, so dad had to re-hide it, this is the 2nd take of the hiding of the Afikomen:
Then of course all the kids had to look for the Afikomen. Hopefully you won't get to dizzy watching this one. Just imagine all these kids tearing through your house? I am not sure Pop-Pop's idea of not hiding it in any drawers saved the house from getting torn apart.
At the end of the meal we had a special cake an song for Sara to celebrate her 38th birthday. (as I write this, I am only 37 I should point out... older women....)
I hope you enjoy the kid's videos of our Passover tradition!
